Pain is a universal experience, but we cope with it differently based on our inner resources and emotional capacity. The expression "harvesting the pain" (which I loved reading here and will use it moving forward) suggests deriving value and growth from painful experiences by consciously engaging with them, rather than suppressing or ignoring them. While many tend to avoid or bury their pain, acknowledging how it shapes us and bringing it to the forefront can lead to insight, resilience, and personal growth. Confronting and "harvesting" pain allows us to extract lessons, develop empathy, and cultivate a deeper self-understanding, emerging with greater emotional depth and strength.
